I cannot recommend this new way of eating more! I have always battled with endless health issues and though GAPS definently helped it was too strict to maintain for my lifestyle. I unfortunately I have a genetic disorder that makes my red blood cells tiny and weak, making nutrient transport extremely difficult, this effects me on a variety of levels from side stitches while working out to extreme exhaustion, life has seemed like a battle the last couple years. BUT… thanks to my lovely cousin I finally decided to give the Ketogenic lifestyle a try, in spite of my increasing meat guilt 🙁
Well after about a month into this new way of eating, my energy levels have drastically increased, even in the middle of the day, my exercise tolerance is much better and I actually have the energy to keep my house clean! Not only that I have dropped around 7 lbs and lost the crazy bloat I was experiencing everyday! This way of eating has really shifted my whole perspective on nutrition on it’s head! If your interested in losing weight, increased energy, better skin and the amazing anti-aging properties this diet has to offer give it a try!
